I received the following email from a friend and did the famous search to see if it is valid.

Gratuity has stolen documents
How could it fulfill our duty as citizens, we will not do what the press does not disclose a law that helps people to recover their documents, stolen, free, in civil rights organizations.

I think much of the population does not know, mainly because of lack of dissemination through the media, is that the Law 3.051/98 gives us the right, in case of theft or larceny, upon the submission of police reports, the issue of gratuity duplicate documents such as:
License (which would cost R $ 42.97);
Identity (R $ 32.65);
Annual Vehicle Licensing (R $ 34.11) ..
To get free education, just take a copy (no need to be authenticated) BO - and the original police reports to the DMV (Qualification and Licensing) and one copy to a position of the IFP.

PROVIDES FOR A WAIVER OF PAYMENT RATE 2 COPY (DUPLICATE) STOLEN DOCUMENTS WHEN DISPATCHED BY AGENCIES OF THE STATE OF RIO DE JANEIRO.
THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF RIO DE JANEIRO
DECREES:
Article 1 - It is the State of Rio de Janeiro responsible for the release of the collection of the 2nd copy, referring to documents issued by state public agencies, when there is any kind of theft and / or theft.
Article 2 - The right to relief will occur by police authorities.
Article 3 - This Act shall come into force on the date of its publication, the provisions to the contrary.
